We are located in Doolin, in County Clare, on the West coast of Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way. Doolin is located in the Burren & Cliffs of Moher Geopark – more info on the Geopark here.
2. Is cycling experience necessary?
Yes, it is necessary to have some cycling experience – so long as you can ride a bike, are in decent physical shape and are up for a challenge – you will have no problems! We take our time throughout the tour to explore and have a chat and breathers, so no one feels left out and no one is left behind. Let us know before hand if you have any conditions that we should be aware of (asthma, allergies etc).
3. What are the group sizes?
We like to keep things small, as smaller groups means more interaction with each other (a great way to meet other travelers!) and we prefer to have less of an environmental impact on the region than other large operators. We only allow a maximum of 8 per tour.
4. How should I go about booking my tour?
To book a tour with us, all you have to do is email us at email@example.com, and we will respond to you as quickly as possible and make the appropriate arrangements. We will do our best, at this time, to answer any questions you may have.
PLEASE NOTE: Before arranging travel, some countries do require a visa for entering Ireland – you can find the full list here.
PLEASE NOTE: Some countries are part of the Short Stay Visa Waiver Programme with the UK, meaning you can apply for a UK visa and travel to Ireland without a visa for Ireland if you are a citizen of the following countries:
Our start time is 9am for our Aran Islands Tours, as the we catch the first ferry leaving Doolin. Or if you are already on the Islands, we meet you at 930/10am depending on the tour booked.
For our Burren Coastal Tour, the meeting time is 10am.
6. How do I get to Doolin?
For bus timetables and directions via car, please see our Travel Tips section for times and maps.
7. What should I bring on the tour?
Since we provide you with all your necessary equipment (bike & helmet) and a packed lunch (for Aran Islands Tours only), all you need to bring is a snack/water, small rucksack, waterproofs, comfortable clothes and good shoes, camera and a smile! Once you book your tour, we will send our a reminder of what to bring with you. Check out our What to Bring page for more info!
8. What will I see on my tour?
It’s more like, what won’t you see! The Islands are filled with flowers, birds, insects, wildlife as well as the limestone pavements, stone walls, ancient sites and the traditional Irish language, it is like nothing you have seen!
So trust us, you are in for a treat!!
